Hello, my name is Ivan Kanjuh and I am a student and a singer-songwriter from Croatia. I attend both MIOC high school and the Music School Elly Bašić as a violinist. From a young age I showed a great deal of interest in music so I decided to go to elementary music school. Apart from learning how to play the violin I also played other instruments such as the guitar, piano and ukulele. I started writing songs when I was about 13 and I have learned a lot since then. So far I have made 25 original songs and posted them on my YouTube channel.

2020. is one of my songs in Croatian. In this song I am talking about a series of unfortunate and/or unexpected events. We were in lock-down because of COVID-19, strong earthquake hit Zagreb and there was snow in March after all the winter without it! I decided to show a bit of positivity in the song becouse I think everyone needed it in that hard time.

This pretty little evening
This pretty little evening is one of my more recent songs. I got the inspiration to write it while I was on the coast with my best friends on the summer break. The moment described in the song is when we were singing and playing the guitar by the sea on a warm summer evening.
